摘要
China's small and medium-sized enterprises are vigorous developing, in the latest,, the signals given by Chinese top officials have shown that the government. is actively pushing the development of town and township enterprises. In Ningbo, there are about. 12,952 newly registered private companies and 49,538 privately or individually-owned businesses in 2002, i.e. every day 35 private enterprises come into being and 135 privately or individually-owned new businesses emerging. Most of them are small and medium-sized enterprises, some of them are even the tiny ones. They are referred as small and medium-sized enterprises because the annual turnover of 90% :private enterprises is less than 5 million RMB in Ningbo. The growing in, such speed and scale has encouraged us to explore and analyze further about the motivation and mechanism of their development, trying our best to help these companies more successful. With the continuous mature of e-business, Internet is progressively developing as a changeable platform and an opening market. All kinds of company and individual data have been provided on line, users from every corner in the world freely access the websites in every minute. The Internet itself is also an ideal channel for sales promotion, providing numerous customers to find. out the products with tremendous conveniences. Powerful search engine, massive information resources, high-speed computing abilities, all these qualities attract most company staff to receive or send e-mails, or search and scan on line before starting their daily work. These common behaviors sent a series of strong signals to small and medium-sized enterprises: the surrounding is undergoing tremendous changes; some complicated methods and advanced tools, which were never able to adopt before, are at hand as long as you are able to exploit and utilize them to the current job. In one word, while the surrounding is continuous and fierce changing, small and medium-sized enterprises have been further developing just as before. The successful achievements indicated that there must be a certain :inevitable relevance between IT adoption and strategic management for China's SMEs.
