摘要
Automatic domain partitioning tools are available to ensure a balanced load distribution according to the expected computational effort spent in the assembly and solution steps of tile finite element solution procedure based on tile non-overlapping domain decomposition. The load balance is disturbed during an adaptive finite element computation with a-posteriori error estimation and local mesh refinement procedures (h-adaptivity). Therefore, a dynamic load balancing method was implemented based on tile multistage diffusion method. The parallelization of tile finite element method is described with emphasis on the adaptive load balancing and an example is given.
