摘要
Since independence, India has made immense progress in the agricultural sector to meet the ever growing demands. Serious measures have to be made to increase the crop productivity as 70% of the current yield will be needed more to meet the growing population by 2050. The concept of sensing to monitor crop growth at various levels is presented in this paper. Using sensor and multispectral imaging technology, factors such as physical crop growth, nutrient and water content requirement and precise pesticides and insecticides level have been covered.
