Dynamic Model of Active Power Filter in Three-Phase Four-Wire System

摘要
This paper describes the dynamic model of active power filter (APF) in three-phase four-wire system. The structure of the APF is the three-leg split-capacitor. The principle of the dq0 transformation and the procedure to derive the dynamic model are fully presented. The proposed model is used to explain the dynamic and steady state behaviors of APF. Moreover, the dynamic model is validated with the exact topology model. The simulation results show that the responses of the APF from the dq0 modeling approach are nearly the responses from the exact topology approach. Therefore, it confirms that the proposed model of the APF can provide a good accuracy.
