摘要
In this paper, peak to average power ratio (PAPR) reduction in the Single Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access (SC-FDMA) using transmit Nyquist pulses have been considered and studied. A new pulse has been proposed by considering the linear combination of three Nyquist pulses. The PAPR performance of the SC-FDMA system with proposed pulse has been evaluated and compared with other Nyquist pulses discussed in the literature. The effect of roll-off factor on the PAPR performance of the pulse shaped SC-FDMA systems is also evaluated.
