摘要
This paper provides an overview of the design process for a gait training system oriented to children with cerebral palsy as an alternative for the existing systems on actual market. Although, those devices cover the function of guide lower limbs of patients during gait training therapies, there are still critical factors that designers have not covered which are relevant to the intention of improving the quality of life of children with this condition. In here, the methodology used during the development of the design process is presented. Furthermore a brief review for some devices, an analysis of requirements of the system and the approach for the kinematic model of lower limbs was used in the process of establishing a motor mechanism for the system.
