摘要
In order to meet the current needs of Chinese market economy, higher education has to cultivate advanced, practical engineering and technical personnel with integrated ability to innovate and design. This paper, after performing a detailed analysis on current teaching situation of Machines and Mechanisms Theory, introduces the helpful exploration made by Anhui University of Architecture in its teaching reform of Machines and Mechanisms Theory with a focus on the cultivation of students' ability to achieve engineering innovations. Practice indicates that the teaching reform based on engineering innovative concept has not only greatly sparked students' interest in learning, but also improved their practical ability to innovate.
