Phonon-assisted magneto-optical transitions in quantum dots

摘要
A theory of phonon-assisted magneto-optical absorption in semiconductor quantum dot structures is given. Using the perturbation technique, expression for the absorption coefficient is obtained. Additional peaks in the absorption spectrum due to transitions between the discrete levels accompanied by emission and absorption of phonons are predicted. Numerical results for the frequency dependence, in the case of polar-optical phonons, are given for parameters characteristic of GaAs.
