摘要
Country risk should be interpreted as a generic term for the overall risk environment of a country, including all types of components: economic, political, legal and sociocultural. This research is concretely focused on the country risk of Russia, which will be analyzed from the perspective of Austrian companies with wholly owned subsidiaries on the Russian market. The research project's aim is to specify the definition of country risk and to trace connections between changes in the country risk appraisal and complying company reactions regarding the present investment engagement on the Russian market.
