摘要
With the development of globalization and widely communication of people all around the world, more and more people are collaborating together in geographically distributed teams. At the same time, ever since the agile manifesto was first put forward, the researchers have paid a great deal of attention on agile software development. As we all know, trust is an indispensable ingredient in the collaborations, while many people seem to overlook the challenges creating by works and social environments. Here we discuss the agile and geographically distributed software development separately to distinguish the advantages and limitations, in order to avoid the disadvantages and make full use of the advantages. After examining publications and citations, this article aims to illustrate: firstly, review the predecessors' work and studies, then discuss their discovering and find out the limitations, at last suggest some future research directions.
