摘要
The dependence of the high-temperature heat capacity of rare-earth metal sesquioxides an the forming these osides rare-earth metals electron structure peculiarities is analyzed. The results show that the difference in their heat capacity is caused by the contribution to Schottky heat capacity. Comparison between the experimental and calculated data based on statistical physics formulae of the contribution to Shottky heat capacity shows satisfactory agreement between them. Consequently, a new calculation method for obtaining the temperature functions of fourteen previously not investigated rare-earth metal sesquioxides of different modification in the temperature range from 298,15 to 2000 K is proposed.
