Embryonic development of Palaemonetes argentinus nobili, 1901 (Decapoda, Palaemonidae), reared in the laboratory

摘要：
Ovigerous females of Palaemonetes argentinus maintained in small tanks for 8 to 12 days, were studied to make a daily follow up of their eggs' embryonic development. This study allowed morphological characterization of the embryonic structures from the time the eggs were laid until the time they hatched. The average embryogenesis time was 10 days. The daily changes noticed did not occur with the same intensity in every instance, giving evidence to different rhythms of development during the eggs' incubation.
