Media environments and contemporary dramaturgies : alternative narratives for a new use of the world

The text examines several dramaturgies through their relations to mediatic environments such as television, phone or web. From a dramaturgical and scenic point of view, the works of Emilie Rousset, Gwendoline Soublin, Pauline Peyrade and the duo Giuseppe Chico and Barbara Matijevic are built from already existant contents and develop narratives of multiple forms. With the help of the notion of "alternative narrative", elaborated by Nicolas Bourriaud (2006), we will see how these original theatrical works convey us to a new use of the world.
