Development of a Standard-Based Curriculum for Information Literacy Enhancement of Elementary Schools in the Northeast of Thailand

摘要
This paper documents the research and development of a standard based curriculum for information literacy enhancement at elementary schools in the Northern region of Thailand. The exercise is part of a PhD study project that aims to determine both the learning standard and the indicators of information literacy in elementary schools in Thailand. Further, the project evaluates the attitude of the elementary school students towards information literacy. The findings of the study showed: (1) Information literacy was composed of 4 standards.. (2) The enrichment curriculum drafted consisted of 7 components. (3) The results of implementation of the developed enrichment curriculum consisted of 6 components.
