One-pot multicomponent synthesis of highly functionalised piperidines from aromatic aldehydes, cyanoacetates, nitromethane and ammonium acetate

摘要
An efficient and straightforward multicomponent synthetic protocol has been developed for the preparation of three kinds of highly functionalised piperidines via multicomponent reaction between aromatic aldehydes, ammonium acetate, cyanoacetates and/or nitromethane for the generation of a wide range of structurally interesting and pharmacologically significant compounds. The structure of ethyl 3-cyano-2,4,6-tris(4-methoxyphenyl)-5-nitropiperidine-3-carboxylate, ethyl 3-cyano-2,4,6-tris(3-methoxyphenyl)-5-nitropiperidine-3-carboxylate and diethyl 3,5-dicyano-2,4,6-tris(3-methoxyphenyl)piperidine-3,5-dicarboxylate were further confirmed by X-ray single crystal analysis.
