A study of tensile properties at room temperature in stainless steel without nickel and chromium

摘要
To investigate the effect of the element contents in Fe-Mn-Al-C alloys on the tensile strensth at the room temperature. the experimental data reported by many literatures were analysed with inductive method, and proposed a function X which depends on the manganese, aluminium and carbon content in Fe-Mn-Al-C alloys. An empirical formula which shows the mechanical properties of the alloys in different values of the function X at the room temperature was obtained. On the basis of the above results, it is clear that the function relation between the mechanical properties in tension and the element contents will be major available to investigate and design the new stainless alloys containing manganese and aluminium for substituting strategic nickel and chromium in the conventional stainless steels.
