摘要
MICO is a C++ written OSS implementation of the CORBA specification. Its internal design is based on a microkernel approach. In this implementation, the Object Request Broker (ORB) connects objects only in the same address space. All extra functionalities such as the Internet Inter-ORB Protocol (IIOP) and the Portable Object Adapter (POA) are located in special-purpose adapters outside the ORB. MICO supports UDP (User Diagram Protocol). With the IDL compiler and the Interface Repository (IR) closely related, MICO achieves maximum reuse of its own components.
