Medical resistance during the Third Reich

Nazi-medicine has recently received renewed interest and publicity. Most articles on this subject rightly focus on ethical questions. They are hardly ever concerned with the subject of resistance of German doctors. This paper attempts to analyse why so little medical resistance took place. In addition, it presents case studies of resistance by individual doctors or associations of physicians. The subject of medical resistance during the Third Reich would seem to merit further in-depth research.
