摘要
Six 2r,4c-diaryl-7c-(t-butyl)-3-azabicyclo[3.3.1]nonan-9-one oximes 4a-f were synthesized. All the compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, H-1, and C-13 NMR spectra and tested for their antibacterial activity against pathogens, namely, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhi, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa and for antifungal activity against Candida albicans, Rhizopus, Aspergillus flavus, and Mucor. Compounds 4b and 4e showed excellent performance in vitro antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Salmonella typhi and also better performance in vitro antifungal activity against Candida albicans, Aspergillus flavus, and Mucor. Compound 4e with a fluoro group at the para position of aryl group exhibited better activity against which pathogen: bacterium or fungus than standard drugs taken for analysis. [GRAPHICS]
