摘要
This article is focused on evaluation of public places, the actual condition. We elaborate one aspect - social evaluation of a place using two Methods of Silhankova: Behavior mapping and Counting of movement of pedestrians. We applied the Behavior mapping Method of Silhankova to selected area - public place in two villages and our purpose was to evaluate and compare the results. Due to some differences and similarities, two villages were selected - Hrubonovo, Podhorany. Observation was done in a sunny day in August. We were inscribing obtained data into in to prepared tables. We evaluated the gained information and we got clear image about frequency of the place, activities of inhabitants there, more and less used spaces. We were expecting more children, because of the summer holidays. Methods of Silhankova - Behavior mapping and Counting of movement of pedestrians show higher activity in Podhorany. Also Activities of people are in higher range. Due to that observation we may say, that during the day the places are mostly used for a transport of inhabitants (pedestrians/by car). Those places are most frequented in the morning and at the lunch time (transport). It is necessary to apply the observation also in weekend days, in different seasons to have complex picture of behavior and movement in all conditions. This methods help to understand the social parameter of public places.
