摘要
This is an initial study that seeks to understand the proposals of sound language in cinema in the first half of the 20th century, an observation of the uses of the old tonality and the recent atonalisms in its functionality. It is the old and the new sound systems to be used in nascent cinema. This study, therefore, studies observing the changes in language and its functionalities and use in cinema from the point of view of music in relation to the image, both in the so-called silent and spoken cinema. A bulletin proposes an observation about the gradual tinting of the tonality, with emphasis on four composers and the trajectory of the changes. It is also about understanding the sound language and listening to modernism, as one more proposal of rupture.
