摘要
The article analyzes the prospects and difficulties of integrating the regions of China into the global Initiative "Belt and Road" / "One belt, one road" (hereinafter - the BRI). The features of the regional division of China and the socio-economic specifics of the regions are highlighted. Today, not all territories of China are included in the integration projects within the BRI, due to actual insufficient capacity and resources of regions to regulate foreign economic activity, capital flow, and relations between people. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of regional projects in the framework of the BRI, the sources of project financing are considered. The author concludes that China is conducting consistent course on promoting the BRI Initiative and combining it with national development plans, technical standards, coordinated regional development; the keynote of which is the "comprehensive building of a prosperous society", the construction of a powerful and modernized socialist state, and the formation of a positive image of China in the world.
