摘要
Electric vehicles have gained popularity in the recent years due to green transportation, high energy efficiency, reduction in fossil fuels and less noise pollutions. With the increasing proportion of EV, the issues of uncoordinated charging may lead to system imbalance and transformer overloading. The coordinated charging of EV restricts the system to maximum loading capacity and minimizes the total power loss. This work proposes hybrid particle swarm optimization ( HPSO) algorithm for coordinated EV charging with network reconfiguration to improve system performance and charging higher number of EVs even during peak consumption. The IEEE modified 33 bus distribution networks is used in the paper to check the efficiency of the system.
