Analysis on the usage characteristics of electrical equipment of Taiwan's convenience stores

This study aims to explore the composition and characteristics of power consumption of convenience storesregarding electric equipment. The electricity monitoring system was applied to conduct long time measurement and recording of the equipments in convenience stores. The application characteristics of the equipments were discussed. Convenience stores can be divided into four types, including "affected by season, climate and business hours", "affected by season and climate but not by business hours", "not affected by season, climate but affected by business hours" and "not affected by season, climate or business hours" according to the application characteristics of the various equipment in convenience stores. The findings can provide an understanding of electricity consumption rush hour and serve as references to the development of the future energy saving strategies.
