摘要
Low-light-level (LLL) image simulation technology is an effective method to evaluate the performance of LLL night vision system. In order to evaluate the performance of the LLL night vision system, a method to simulate the performance of the LLL night vision system is presented based on analyzing the imaging principle of the LLL night vision system. The factors affecting LLL imaging including the night sky light intensity, the reflectivity of target material, atmospheric attenuation and the structural parameters of LLL night vision systems are investigated. The mathematical models of sub links in the imaging process of LLL night vision system are established, including the signal transfer characteristic model, the atmospheric transmission model, the spatial transfer characteristic model and the noise model of the imaging system, and then the impacts of each link on the output image of the night vision system are described. Finally, the simulation results of LLL night vision device are given, and the simulation results can provide intuitionistic reference for optimizing the design of LLL night vision system.
