摘要：
This paper proposes a new genetic algorithm for job shop scheduling problems. The proposed genetic algorithm is designed to generate only feasible schedules in the course of schedule evolution. It can be used to solve job shop scheduling problems with various precedence constraints. As precedence constraints, it allows precedence among jobs and precedence among operations at the same machine. To show the applicability of the proposed method, it is applied to Muth-Thompson benchmark problems.
