Social-psychological substance of combat stress

There are described the personal aspects of combat stress determined with exertion of psychological systems like motivation, self-adequacy, willpower, reflective consciousness, etc. The interrelation between reliability of personal activity and realization of person's role and place in combat operations is shown. The role of citizenly support to the fighter from population, family and state structures is defined. There are presented the consequences of combat stress by way of personality's dissociation as a social-phychological syndrome of "the loss of face". The suggestions on psychological assistance to the fighter are described within the framework of military doctrine and soldierly duty.
