Storm-time dynamics of the low-energy solar proton boundaries in the magnetosphere

摘要
The similar to1 MeV solar proton boundaries in the magnetosphere is studied using the data of Cosmos satellites (polar orbits at similar to 500-1000 km altitudes). Unique data of simultaneous detection of >1 MeV solar proton boundaries were obtained on three Cosmos satellites during a strong magnetic storm of similar to200 nT D-st amplitude. The lowest storm-time position of the boundaries is observed some hours before the storm maximum at early dusk hours, when the largest local time asymmetry of the boundaries occurs. The dynamics of the equatorial and polar boundaries of solar protons in the magnetosphere is compared with the substorm development during the magnetic storm.
