摘要
This study reflects on the philosophy of translation in light of the heritage of Paul Ricoeur Language, languages and translation all belong to the process of constitution of sense and here translation is of particular importance for the reconstitution of the plurality of human discourse in its unity and opens the way to an ethics of linguistic hospitality and sociability. The gift of language and of languages introduces an element of gratuity to correct the contemporary obsession with the general commercialization of the life world and suggests a possible non-violent foundation for the social bond in the perspective of solidarity and sollicitude for concrete persons. I propose to establish a relation between the gift of languages as a constitutive element of the community of speakers and the linguistic hospitality which implies responsibility toward others that is both specific and exemplary Our debt to use and develop our humanity in and through language corresponds to the free gift of language and of languages which provides us with access to the world and to others in permitting us to fully realize our own possibilities.
