University television in postgraduate research in Brazil (2013-2017)

This article mapping of the production of knowledge about university television in graduate studies from 2013 to 2017. The search was done based on the Portal Brasileiro de Publicacoes Cientificas em Acesso Aberto (Oasisbr) [Brazilian Portal of Scientific Publications in Open Access]. There were found 15 dissertations and theses that contribute to construct a panorama of the state of the art of this investigation field. These academic productions focus on five categories of study: Administration; programming analysis; public field of communication; information and knowledge, and technology. With regard to geographical location, most of the post-graduate programs in the Southeast region are followed by the South and Northeast (three). The examination indicates the existence of few comparative research amongst Brazilian university television and the absence of comparative research between national and international practices.
