Cooperation of the administrative body for care with child and adolescent psychiatry

The Social Law for Compensation concerning victims of violence in Germany ought to be mentioned in counselling with victimized children and adolescents, as well in the field of low as in the field of psychiatry. Following an application for recompensation, the competence of child and adolescent psychiatrists is often necessary to assess the causality and severity of mental disorder. To ease problems at the interface between the administrative body for care and CAP and to establish criteria for psychiatric assessment, a quality circle was set up consisting of members of a CAP clinic, therapists in private practice and medical members of the administrative body for care. The criteria set up so for are presented here.
