Resonance formation in two-photon collisions in L3 at LEP

摘要
The formation of quarkonium resonances in gamma gamma collisions has been studied with the L3 detector at LEP, using data taken from 1991 to 1995. The eta' is observed in the channel pi(+)pi(-)gamma, and its two-photon width is measured. The Q(2)-dependence of the eta' formation cross section has been studied in the interval 0.015< Q(2) <10.0 GeV2, and the form factor has been obtained. The charmonium state chi(c2) is identified through its decay to gamma J/psi, J/psi --> e(+)e(-) or mu(+)mu(-), and a preliminary value for the chi(c2) two-photon width is given.
