摘要
This paper presents a comparative analysis of two small-wind axial flux permanent magnet generators, for direct-drive wind energy conversion system. A three-phase dual-rotor ironless-stator axial-flux permanent magnet machine structure with drum winding is compared with a three-phase dual rotor slotless iron core stator TORUS generator. 3D electromagnetic analysis of the designed machines is carried out in terms of stand-alone operation. The comparative results of the simulations obtained show that the proposed solutions could be an option for the wind power system.
