摘要
The language with which one evokes climate apocalypse implicates a pragmatic paradox of enunciation analogous to one analyzed by Nuclear Criticism. It entails the necessity of speaking about the end of organized society from a perspective, a standpoint beyond the end, posthumously, as it were. It gives rise to the dubious pleasure, in another form, of what has been called the nuclear sublime. © 2014 by The Johns Hopkins University Press.
