Canadian undergraduate environmental studies programmes

Following the positive response to Alternatives Journal's directory of graduate environmental studies programmes (Winter 99 issue), we are pleased to present a directory of Canadian undergraduate programmes in environmental studies. Reflecting the multidisciplinary nature of environmental studies, many of the programmes listed are combined degrees, college diplomas, post-diplomas or joint offerings from more than one participating department. Due to space constraints, the directory is limited to those programmes that integrate scientific and social perspectives on environmental issues. The information for this directory was obtained by contacting staff at the universities and colleges, and by consulting course calendars and websites. Individual institutions should be contacted for application procedures and dates. We plan to present both the graduate and undergraduate directories annually, so your suggestions for future directories are welcome. Help us to keep this working for you.
