摘要：
SWITCH(1) has over five years experience in developing and operating a national Shibboleth-based Authentication and Authorization Infrastructure (SWITCHaai) for the Swiss higher education and research sector. The current status of the SWITCHaai federation and an outlook of future development are given. Furthermore, the Resource Registry is described in detail. It is a tool developed by SWITCH to manage the information of Service and Identity Providers within the federation in a scalable manner.
