The normative force of the objectives of sustainable development 9 and 12 in the socio-environmental responsibility of companies

This article aims to verify the normative force of the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDS) Nos. 9 and 12 created in 2015 and their application to corporate social and environmental responsibility. The main objective is to conclude whether the agreement, which deals with ODS, signed by the United Nations and the signatory countries, would be sufficient to produce its effects on the socio-environmental responsibility of companies in Brazil. For that, the analytical-descriptive methodology of norms and doctrines was used. At the end of the study, it is evident that only the existence of international norms does not guarantee their application in Brazil.
