摘要
Perovskite barium stannate (BSO) nanostructures (NS) were prepared by wet chemical method. The structural and optical properties were investigated by XRD, SEM and UV-Vis spectroscopy, respectively. The absorption spectrum exhibits a band gap of 4.1 eV, which is blue shifted from bulk. Polarization hysteresis (P-E) of BSO nanomaterial shows anti-ferroelectric behavior. The nanomaterial showed drastic enhancement in dielectric constant, nearly 1300 times higher than that of already reported values and this is achieved at room temperature (RT) itself.
