Proposed Methodology for IoT Based Smart Parking System

摘要
There is a rapid increase of population in the world at a rate of 1.09% increase every year, it has led to many problems that adversely affects our society. These problems are not only an Individual problem but also a global challenge which includes air pollution, blockage of the road, waste of natural resources such as fuel and mainly time. It is often difficult to find the space to park their respective vehicle in crowded areas. This proposed Smart parking system consists of the onsite deployed Internet of Things (IoT) module which delivers real-time output and monitors the flow of the parking of vehicles in and out of that particular parking lot. The methodology provides the optimal solution for the parking space. Using this method one can get to know the space for parking the vehicle.
