The on-line career Services system at Western Michigan University was developed to connect the students and the employers via Internet. This on-line system is fully integrated with the capabilities for the employers to add job listings and produce historical and current job data. The employers can also display future trends in job market. The students can enter their resumes, view current and future job listings, and update their resumes as and when needed. When the students enter their data into the system, they can also include information for further contacts and interviews. The employers, on the other hand, can browse through the resumes and match their criteria of selection and can inform the students about the interviews details.
