The Internet, which provides numerous resources for rehabilitation professionals and consumers, is having a significant impact on the rehabilitation process. It provides immediate access to medical and vocational information, as well as career development tools that can be used by consumers. Collectively, these promote the delivery of rehabilitation services, facilitate consumer-professional communication, and enhance the attainment of rehabilitation goals.
