摘要
The rigid polyurethane foams (RPUF) have been attracting an increasing attention over the recent years mainly due to the exceptional thermal insulating properties, high resistance to weather conditions, good mechanical properties and low apparent density. In this paper, the main characteristics of the rigid polyurethane and polystyrene foams are analysed. At the same time, the application and disadvantage of the two materials in construction engineering are introduced, including the exterior wall insulation, roof insulation, floor surface heat, preservation, etc.
