摘要
The purpose of this study is to understand the relationship between the psychophysical quantities (i.e., colorfulness, naturalness, visual comfort, preference, details in shadow and highlight) and image quality for motion pictures. Eye-tracking technology is introduced to collect gazing areas in test pictures which are regarded as more attractive areas to the observers. Four original motion pictures were used in psychophysical experiment. Each picture was rendered at 4 levels for 5 attributes (hue, contrast, saturation, brightness and sharpness). The experimental result shows that visual comfort influences image quality mostly.
