摘要
Reinforcing fibres have very high level of mechanical properties to compete to produce the best performance materials. The trends of organic fibers to properties comparable to carbone fibers is shown by X-rays. Spacial organisation of fibres, their architecture or texture brings a high flexibility for designing parts in order to meet the highest requirements. The technological evolution to 3D "textures", near net shape preforms, is the challenge for the competitivity of those materials and their future.
