摘要：
On the basis of theoretical analysis and many years of her own research the author presents a general characteristic of narcissism, describing connection between disruptions in the structure of identity, regulatory mechanisms, cognitive style peculiarities and methods of interpersonal cognition, which allows prognosis of a wide range of behavioral disorders. The author argues that narcissism has a bio-psycho-social determination and that the current technological advancement and predominance of consumer values create new stimuli for development pf narcissistic and perfectionist personalities.
