摘要
Quantum graph methods offer novel perspectives on analytic and computational models of blood flow in the human arterial system. A significant modeling issue is the geometric complexity of peripheral subsystems, which have roughly 10(8) arterioles and 17 branching levels. This complexity can be managed by using linear equations on trees with radially symmetric ends. A reduction to radially symmetric functions helps to determine junction conditions, analyze eigenvalue equations, determine operator domains, and analyze scattering behavior for truncated trees.
