Do corporate governance, firm characteristics, and financial ratio affect firm performance?

摘要：
The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that affect the performance of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The independent variables consisted of frequency of board meetings, attendance of board members, board size, leverage, firm age, firm size, sales growth and asset turnover. The dependent variable was firm performance. The sample consisted of 186 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange during 2014-2016. The hypothesis test used in this research was multiple linier regression analysis. The results show that firm age, firm size, and asset turnover had a significant effect on the firm performance. Frequency of board meetings, attendance of board members, board size, leverage and sales growth had no significant effect on company performance.
