FLIPPED CLASSROOM AND TEAM BASED LEARNING: STIMULATING LEARNING IN STUDENTS THAT RETAKE THE COURSE

摘要
In this paper we propose the use of the Flipped classroom (FC) and the team based learning (TBL) in the Groups of Intensification of the Study (GIS) that offers the Department of Economic Theory in the Degrees in Economy, and Business Administration (BA) of the University of Barcelona (UB). The GIS are addressed to students that retake the course. In this context, the main aim of this project is to incorporate the methodologies FC and TBL to incentivize both the autonomous and the group work of the students, as well as to improve their academic performance. The results of two pilot groups during the course 2013-2014 reveal significant achievements, although there is scope for improvement.
