摘要
In this issue of Chem Catalysis, Chen et al. report a combined theo-retical and experimental study on how the electrolyte and binder affect the CO2 electrochemical reduction reaction (CO2RR). Whereas formate production was independent of the reaction conditions, CO selectivity changed dramatically, which was attributed to bicarbonate's role as a proton donor for CO formation.
