摘要：
In this paper we present a new formalism that can be used to formally specify complex systems where uncertainty plays an important role. We introduce an improved version of a previous formalism, a fuzzy version of finite automata, by defining its syntax and semantics. We successfully applied this formalism to define and analyze information extracted from electrocardiograms (ECGs).
